i dont really know if its my graphics card or not, but ill describe the problem.
first off, my comp specs:
250gb western digital hd
mobo: gigabyte 7vt600 with 1.8 ghz amd athlon xp 2500+
ati radeon 9800 pro
1.5 gb ddr pc2700 RAM (1.0gb corsair, 512 mb kingston)
now the problem:
when i play splinter cell: chaos theory, the 3d shapes get all stretched and twisted and if i keep playing, the computer crashes. (all after like 5 minutes)
with dungeon siege 2, it just crashes after an hour or so.
battlefield 2: crashes in 5 minutes.
swat 4: see splinter cell
F.E.A.R. demo: little red dots appear throughout game. then its crashes in like 5 minutes
warcraft 3: little lines like these ||||| appear in the game only they are thicker and have little colors. these appear like everywhere and it pisses me off. the game never crashes though
NOTE: all these games with the graphics maxed to the best of my vid card's capability
any help would be much appreciated.
