problem with hard drive

Okay heres the problem, I uninstalled doom 3 a couple of days ago and when the uninstall was finished it never gave me back the disk space it took up. Yesterday I downloaded about 2 gigs worth of info (3dmark 03/05, some game demos, etc) and I probably installed another 3 gigs of info and when I deleted everything and uninstall the programs it didnt give me the space back. What gives?

Hmm, run a defrag and reboot.

ya i would sugest the same thing, or go into the program files and try to delete the doom3 folder

Ive done those things but it still wont give me my space back. I ran crap cleaner and it removed 2 gigs of space so there about 4 - 5 gigs that are still unaccounted for.
