I have microsoft windows xp pro 64 bit edition, and I cannot use internet explorer 7 beta 2. Whenever I try to go somewhere I get error 400 and it will pop up the dial up connection box, but I am using DSL.
Firefox on the other hand works fine.
How do I fix this?

you laugh at internet explorer and use firefox instead(jk)

but seriusly, it's a beta, so you expect errors. all you can do is tell microsoft so they can fix it by the next beta.

I downloaded the 64 bit edition. I tried installing IE 6 yesterday (It was the XP pro service pack 1 which is what i have) and it says it doesnt support 64 bit.

What version of internet explorer can I download that will work for me?

I would highly recommend updating windows xp to the sp2 version. Then install the ie7 beta 2 for xp sp2.

also, if you want to uninstall IE 7 beta, go to the control panel - add remove programs - and place a check mark on show updates at the top right of that window. Then find the ie7 update for internet explorer and select remove. That way you will have the previously working ie6 back on in action.
