I no longer have the tabs in my taskbar and I have tried all kinds of settings to get them back. They are just.. not there.. i have to push alt+tab everytime i want to switch tasks and its kinda annoying lol. anybody know how to fix it?
I am using IE7 and windows XP home edition.

In IE 7 you would simply drop down the tools menu and select internet options. The button for having tabs displayed is where to change from the default to tabbed browsing. If that fails to see results a fresh download and reinstall of IE should correct this fast. That means setting your ISP information again but would see the option returned. The main page for IE 7 is found at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx?wt_svl=20510a&mg_id=20510b

I have played with every setting in internet explorer, Then I downloaded firefox and still have the same issue so I think it is something to do with taskbar settings but I right clicked on the taskbar and tried all those settings and still no tabs.

When you have the IE window open you then go to the tools item seen on the menu bar and drop that down for the internet options. There is no right click option in IE. In FireFox 2.0 you drop down the bookmarks list and look for the open in tabs option.
