Problem with internet after Reformatting

After reformatting my hard drive of my Dell Dimension 8250, I am having major problems trying to get the internet working. It's been a while since I've done this before and when I install the network driver from the cd I received when I bought the computer, my internet still doesnt work. Am I forgetting something?

I know it has a good connection to my router because I used the same network cable on my laptop and it worked fine.


What should I do? Any help is appreciated
 
Go to your connections page and open up your wireless connection. Then check to see if the IP address is valid (such as 0.0.0.0)
 
I figured it out, thanks for your help, I was selecting the wrong device in the device manager...its been a while since i've done this, sorry.
