Problem with LCD Monitor

I am wondering if anyone can tell me whats causing this problem I am having with my MAG LCD monitor.

Anywhere on the screen where there is the color blue, some of the pixels in that area get really bright blue and flicker sorta, moving the mouse into those areas sometimes causes these pixels to move with it or they go away. This happened once before and was all over the screen, (I dont think it has got that bad yet), the monitor was under warranty so I sent it in and it came back fine. Now, about 2 years later this problem is starting again.

Could this maybe be a fuse or something that needs to be replaced?

Any suggestions or answers to what this problem is would be greatly appreciated.

LCD Problem

This only occurs on and around certin shades of blue on the screen, when I move black or any other color in front of it the flickering, bright pixels move with that blue anywhere on the monitor. Today the problem is worse than it was yesterday.

messaging does not do anything.

I hope I explained this well enough in my first post, i'll try again: the problem is that on certian shades of blue on screen, the pixels on the monitor are reacting to that blue, the little pixels on the monitor are bright blue and flicker.

well, i think its safe to say its not a grpahics card problem because it was the monitor that got repaired. Do you smell any burning or see any scorch marks, is it unusually hot, does everything else work on the monitor like the OSD screen etc...

I know for sure its not a graphic card problem, I have tried the monitor on two computers and the same shades of blue cause the problem on both computers.

There is no smell of burning or anything you describe.

I tried to take a picture of it, but the camera cannot pick it up.

Some times they come with bad pixcles... i think newegg will take a monitor back only if more then like 9 pixles are dead or somthing like that.

The pixels were all fine when i got the monitor, i didnt see any that were bad, and then after the first time this happened the monitor came back perfect.

For some reason the pixels are reacting to a certain shade of blue on the screen. It just started doing this, why?

it seems as though you have bad pixels. what make is the monitor?

The Monitor is a MAG LT464S

Does that mean every pixel on the screen is bad. I can move the shade of blue that causes this to anywhere on the screen and it causes the pixels anywhere to do this.

I tried contacting MAG to find out what the problem was the last time I sent it in and they don't want to answer.

did youtrie to find the Firmware of the monitor? (its some sort of bios, but then from the screen. )
however, im not shure if its possible to upload new firmware to a monitor. by a dvd/cd drive or writer it workts fine. but, maybe you culd give it a shot
