problem with lcd

recently my m170 lcd has been dying, one whole pixel column at a time, and looks like it won't stop....the dead columns are one of three colors: blue, yellow or purple, right now i have about 15 of them, so does anyone has a clue of what might be happening???
 
Wow, that weird. check the cable connection. if its still showing something it may not be dying. also check the video cable, and the video card. does the LCD do the same thing on another compuiter?
 
I'd try to get to the cable/ribbon inside the laptop and make sure the connection's nice and tight. I'd suspect it to go out all at once if this were the problem, but it's worth a shot.
 
They might be bright dots . They are pixels that is about to die . u can change to a full black screen to see them clearly . Think you need to send it for service .
 
ya i agree with blurblock, ifits a laptop screen its dying. either buy another screen somewhere to time to replace
