Problem with MSN -- Principle Ports

Hi folks

Basically my friend's having troubles with MSN. It won't connect, and when he does the analyse, it states the principle ports as being the problem. The thing is though, it was working fine only last night.

Any helps regarding this would be much appreciated.

He has the latest MSN version, and no errors were displayed. It basically said the usual "Sorry. Please try to connect again later." and then when he did the analyse, it stated the principle port as being the problem, which sounds to me that it won't simply go away over night.

In regards to XP, I'm going round his tomorrow since I'm more at ease with computers than he is. I'll let you know if it works.
