Problem with my Ati Graphics card

Instead of this thread being used for my problem this is now open for all ATI graphics cards and there probs,

When i play Halo With this graphics card there is multicoloured lines on the floor, this only happens every so often but it looks bad (not a good sign)

they come and go constantly, (mainly when in a warthog)

i got halo maxed in the graphics setting, all apart from the reso, wich is 800x600, i have

and also the water has a grid running on the top of it,

could it be the smoothvision

and is there somthing that could get rid of the ridged edges as they dont look straight they look like zigzaggy

Try turning the Anti Aliasing ON

sounds like artifacting, is your graphics card overheating?

its got a cooling fan from a nvidia card, but i still have the orgional heatsink.

shall i swop them over

i haven't got the option weather to turn it on or off

And another prob, when playing quake 4 on low settings it shows the images but all green, everything is green even the light on the machine gun. and the terrain looks red, orrange and yellow, what is causing this problem???

How can i fix this problem???

Which is best overall Geforce 4 Mx440 or the Ati Raedon 9250
