I've been able to fix many problems on my computer, but this one leaves me scratching my head. Ill start off with how it happened...Before this incident, my computer was already screwed up and i was trying to fix it. The video card was at its lowest possible setting and i couldn't change it. I ended up going into properties then doing something with the display. There were 2 boxes there with the number 1 and 2 in each of them, respectively. So to fix the problem i had then, i changed it from 1, to 2. When i rebooted it looked fine, but when i tried to play a game (Specifically Counter-Strike) the program said that Open GL mode wasn't supported on my GeForce 5200 MX card, which i know is. I then looked at my display under properties and it said "(Default Monitor) on" instead of the usual, "256 MB Geforce MX 5200" or something like that. I'm guessing when i switched it from "1" to "2" that stopped using my graphics card and is using something else. Someone please help me.
