I have the x-fi fatality pro series and I have it in stereo surround, but it plays normal volume for just the front one and the back 2, the front left and right are quite. Any answers/suggestions?

If everything is plugged in correctly a simply removal and reinstall of the application as well as the drivers when Windows sees a fresh detection might help. That would depend on whether or not the speakers used are all working and the card isn't seeing a bad jack or other problem.

Besides all of the settings for the number of speakers, levels in the sound mixer, etc. there you may want to look at the balance controls on the speaker set itself in case you just happened to turn the front to back all the way in one direction turning down one pair while bringing up the balance for the other. The Windows mixer can also play a role at times if that isn't set correctly there too.

for some reason my audio console isnt the nice one i had before, now it looks crappy and doesnt have the nice interface in the bottom right corner of my screen

Lately when reinstalling XP again... I noticed the familiar volume control icon was changed in the system tray as well as now having a standard Windows type screen appear rather then the Gamer, Entertainment, or Creation mode with several buttons seen. That was one reason I initially thought something was missing when first buying the X-FI Xtreme Audio model and replacing it with the Xtreme Gamer.

Looking back I haven't particularly noticed any great difference in sound qualiry between the two models despite all the claims. The oddity was the software side of things.
