Problem with new RAM

I just bought a new 1GB stick of PC3200 Corsair Value RAM. When I put it in my computer I get a blue screen everytime very soon after loading windows. When I put my old stick of 512mb in, windows works fine. If i put them both in, I get a Memory Management error on the blue screen. Can anyone help me with this?
 
install the new stuff or both and check in bios to see if they are both recognized. If not the new memory is either incompatible for some reason or DOA
