Hi,
Hope this is the correct forum for my post, ok I have a few ancient PC's for my work, now these are old win3.1, 3.5inch FD nothing much else to say just that its old. Now I need to use these systems cos the software on the, runs only on win3.1. My problem is this, I regularly work in dos and transfer files between these PC's and my normal desktop, these files can be upto 4-5mb at a time so I need to (wait for it) PKunzip in dos! and its a major pain in the arse! now Im looking for some method of transferring files using a medium better than a 3.5inch disk. I had a look at sony's 3.5inch memory stick apaptor but this needs win95 or greater. The PC does not have USB etc, basically a serial/parallel port nothin much else. Does anyone have an idea how I could transfer larger files in one go without having to screw around in PKunzip, ideally an external storage device which I could connect PC to PC without any real hassles? and drag and drop in win3.1 file manager.
Thanks for reading.
Gordon
