Problem with refresh rate

Hi, I have recently installed an nVidia GeForce 7300GT AGP 256 Mb video card on my pc and I have a problem with the refresh rate. In fact, I can't set it to 75 Hz because if I do so the monitor starts flickering very hard. The only refresh rate I can use without having this problem is 60 Hz. My monitor is an Acer LCD 19'' AL1917 and with the old video card, which was a GeForce 6600GT, it worked perfectly at any refresh rate, included 75 Hz. Does anyone know how to solve this matter?
Thank you

Have you tried already to install another version of video card drivers?
By the way what is the brand name of your '7300GT' card?

Yes, I have already tried to install different versions of video drivers. The brand is nVidia distributed by point of view.

point of view.
Is it a brand name??
Anyway why don't you visit a store where you bought your card to ask them to test it for correct working on this resolution or try to do it on your friends computer yourself?
There are different things that can cause such a problem it's hard to give an advice in this case

I post my computer specifications:
CPU Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz
Motherboard ASROCK 775V88+
1 Gb RAM
HD1 Maxtor 80Gb
HD2 Maxtor 40 Gb
Sound Blaster Audigy SE
nVidia GeForce 7300 GT

Hope this will be useful
