Problem with SD card?

I recently took a quick flight, which I took some pictures on. I wanted to upload and share a few with you all, but I can't. I have a MMSD card in an SD adapter built in my computer. When I put the card in, it doesn't show up in Windows Explorer. If I go to System Manager, it will show up under Disk Drives as "SD Memory Card", with the exclamation next to it. I have tried hitting update drivers, and deleting it and reinstalling. What should I do?

might want to try putting back in the camera and plugging the camera in to the computer. see if ya can read it off the camera. got to start some where.

can ya view the pictures on the camera?

Well, it is actually my phone, but yes I can. It is the computer not the card, as none of the cards I try in the computer work. And my phone is crappy, so I can't connect it to the computer long enough to copy the pictures off of it.

for now just plug in the power supply for charging. a 4 or5 port usb is cheap.
look at the ports available. pci is cheap enough. ebay or newegg. then again ya might want to make sure the drivers is available in the bios with the installation cd. might want to try going to www.update.microsoft.com and see what updates are available. i would look at the drivers for the motherboard first if none are working. something different happened.

What? That confused me...

And hey, I still haven't got this figured out. I gave up for a little while as I was busy, but still need some help.

He means just get a USB cable for the phone if you don't have one. Pretty much any phone with an SD card will be recognized as a flash drive if you plug it in to your computer with a USB cable.

As for the real problem, when you say "mmsd card", I assume you mean MicroSD? It could be that the problem is the adapter you're using, assuming that your computer has a standard SD slot. You can get replacement adapters very cheap on eBay. I also have a bunch of MicroSD to USB adapters, and if you want I could send you one for the price of shipping. You might also try reinstalling the drivers for your computer's SD bay.

Oh. I have a USB cord for it, but there isn't a driver for it, and I can't get it to work. Its a common problem with my phone. And yes, it is a MicroSD card. I have a standard SD slot. And I have tried it with 2 adapters. I may just go buy a MicroSD to USB adapter. Thanks for the offer, but we have a good second-hand shop where I can get one for cheap.
