I got a new comp.
It had a defective hard drive which i replaced then i installed XP on it. It runs fine except when i start it up.
The first time i power it on it gives me this EXACT writing
Intel (R) Boot Agent Version 4.0.17
Copyright 1997-2001, Intel Corporation
Intel Base-code, RXE -2.0 (Build 083)
Copyright 1997-2001, Intel Corporation
PXE - E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-MOF:Exiting
Intel PXE ROM.
Boot Failure: System halted_
To get it to run i have to rapidly press the on and off button about 5 times then it will work. It did this with XP, then i installed Vista and it does the exact same thing.
Any advice on how to get it to work properly?
