Problem with taskbars on dual monitors

I had my computer turned off at power supply for an hour or two, while I replaced the computer stand with a new one, then had dinner. When I turned it on, everything was the same, except that the taskbar for the second monitor was on my primary monitor, on top of the taskbar for primary monitor.

Trying to move it across, I decided to click auto-hide for some reason. Now, I simply can't get it back up. Any ideas to get it to show?

Btw, I use Ultramon.

If it's on auto hide then you usually just drag your mouse point to the bottom, or where ever it is located, and the taskbar should show up.

I know. USUALLY, it works, but not in this case, because the other taskbar is in the way. The taskbar for monitor2 is hiding underneath (not behind) the taskbar for monitor1.

click and hold the #1 taskbar and drag it to the side of the monitor. it will attach itself to the side instead of the bottom. now it's out of the way and you can get to the other one.

btw, how do you have 2 taskbars? the only way i've ever seen it was in clone mode, but that was just showing a copy of the one taskbar. in extended mode, i've always only had the one taskbar on the primary screen, and stretch mode just puts one, but it's stretched across both screens. are you sure it was there to begin with?

Bugger. Moving the taskbar didn't help. There must be another way, through the Control Panel or something.

As I said, I have Ultramon installed, which adds the option of Dual View. Its not extended, or clone.

So you have two taskbars? They must be different then? One has a start button and the 2nd does not? I'm so confused :S. I have no idea how one taskbar can overlap another. Anyway hit the windows key and the taskbar should pop up, once it does, left click on it, then click properties. You can then remove the check mark from "Auto-hide the taskbar"

perhaps you could show us a screenshot of your desktop? I'm curious to see what this looks like.

I had a second taskbar in that black box
After putting computer in a new workstation, plugging everything back in, and booting up, it had shifted across, and was now lying on top of the taskbar with the Start button in it. (I did my best to explain that it was not overlapping, but simply lying on top.)
This had happened before occasionally, I just could never remember how I sorted it out. So, I think I clicked 'Lock' and 'Auto-Hide'. It then disappeared.

EDIT: I managed to sort it out. Disabled secondary taskbar in Ultramon, moved the 'Startbar' taskbar to the side, then re-enabled it. It then appeared at the bottom of the screen.

So, it now looks like this:
