Problem with uploading

Hey all, I'm new to this forum and I've a little problem. I'm not very skilled with computers and I still can't figure out why my computer won't let me upload music, pictures, or videos onto the internet (ex: myspace, photobucket, youtube). If anyone has a possible solution, that would help a lot! Thanks!

Could you explain a bit more what the problem is? That's fairly broad. What errors do you get?

Hm well, I'm not sure how to explain it, but when I attempt to upload a picture (say about 3 megabytes) onto a photo uploading site, it just freezes. My internet browser comes to a halt, and the picture never finishes uploading. I get the same problem trying to load an attachment onto an email message. When I try to load any document larger than one megabyte, my computer just freezes.
