Problems Creating a Dvd Out of Youtube Videos

So, Going on a 12hr trip and watch alot of youtube. so i downloaded some videos and went ahead and burnt a dvd using the program: http://www.dvdflick.net/ well, after trying the first time (took about 2hrs) nothing, second time with same disc nothing.. 3rd time different disk nothing. any suggestions? my entertainment depends on you guys anyway, thanks for your time

EDIT: They were saved in mp4 format. Also, if you think its a problem with the software i used link me to another please.
