problems on harddisk

hi, i needed help urgently, think my harddisk gotten some problems.
during the startup of the windows the (IDE primary Master and slave was set to auto detect) but it stated ther IDE primary Master - not installed.
i tried to unplug and plug my hard disk but nothing was detected.
is there anything to configure or any solution for it?
what was it?? izit my harddisk crash?

try to set one to master and one to slave instead of auto detect and see if that works.

Only try one hd, the master with the OS, and see if that works.
