I have recently purchased a Fan Controller and I have been having some difficulty plugging it into my motherboard. It has several small ports to plug into but i cant figure out what to do with them. This is my motherboard:

These are the cables that need to be plugged in:

Can somebody please help me?

The plugs you posted in the jpeg here are those for the front panel on an atx case. :P No one can see the fan controller connections until you post a link or another jpeg to see what they look like.

yup... and the layout for the USB connections usually stands in the manual of the motherboard :)

but this is the standard pin layout on the motherboards for extra USB connections.

On many boards you will find a second block of pins for the front or additional usb, audio, and anything else separate from the block for power, reset, and leds for power and the hard drive. Is the controller for a cpu fan? Often those plug inline with the 3 or 4 pin plug going to the board. The controller extends outside of the case there?

These cords plug in extra ports ie. USB, Mic and Speaker ports ON the fan controller, they do not plug in the actual fans. So how do I plug them in? I have lost my manual for the Motherboard.

What make and model is the board there. Usually you can go right to the manufacturer's support site and download a copy of the manual in a pdf file or at least open at the site. If you are running larger 12v fans they should have a molex connector that will use an ide drive's power plug if you have an extra there. Otherwise you would plug the 3 or 4pin plug onto the correct connection on the board itself.
