Problems running

Hey all i have a laptop which spec is:-

Pentium mobile centrino 1.86Ghz (3. something desktop equivilant)
512mb ram
256mb ati mobility radeon x600

it works great all programs runnin fine except some online games, i play World of warcraft which runs fine but i also play a game called reppelz which when i load it up it takes ages to load the game then ages to start it when i have selected my player, an loading from one area to another, when i shut the game down i have to leave the computer for 5 or mins just to let it settle down coz i cant do anything with it coz it runs so slow ,

My question is if i increase my ram from 512mb to 1gb will that releave the loading and waiting time when i shut the game down or go to a different area

my house mate plays with me at the same time i have a better system than he does each spec beating his except the ram he has 768mb ram

If u have anyother suggestions on what may help they will be greatfully recieved

increasing ram will nearly always speed up a pc.
something else to look at is if theres anything else running in the background.

well ram should help but i cant see that being the problem, maybe your computer is just jamming up, or too many programs running, you can go run, msconfig and go to startup and unclick all the annoying startups or just get rid of everything, i would also make sure you have no spyware
