Ive got a dell laptop with XP home, and I believe its something with the OS causing the hangup, but not sure what else to do.
When shutting down, the computer gets to the point, "pleas wait a moment, shutting down" and just hangs there. Ive even let it sit for like a half hour. Ive tried running the hard drive defrag and error checking.
