Hey guys,
so i finally put my computer together, and finally got a bootable windows cd, and i'm having a few issues. (EDIT: THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED. PLEASE SKIP TO SECOND PROBLEM)firstly, i'm having problems with my wireless card. it's a NetGear WG311T. i installed the driver twice- once from the original CD and once, i downloaded the latest driver onto another computer, and put it on a pen drive. it says that the driver has installed correctly, yet when i reboot the computer with the adapter in, windows doesn't see it and the driver says that the adapter isn't inserted. i ran a Knoppix live CD (linux), and I was connected to our network.
secondly, i would like to know how I can transfer everything from my old computer to my new one. not things like files, but like how my desktop was set up, and what was on my program files list. all the harddrives from my old computer are attached to the new one (former slave drive- current master, former slave- current slave, former master- current slave). i am running windows XP pro coporate edition, sp2.
thanks for your help
