Problems with new computer

Hello, I have built my first computer yesterday, the specs are;
GIGABYTE GA-73PVM-S2H motherboard
E2160 cpu
Arctic freezer 7 pro
HITACHI 500GB SATA hard disk
I have assembled the computer and it turns on etc. I tried installing windows but it didn’t let me, said something about configuring hard drive. After that the computer restarted and know hangs on the same screen. At the bottom of the screen it says Verifying DMI Pool Data. What does this mean and how do I fix it and install windows with no problems.

sounds like a cd error. the installation is loading stuff from the cd then freezes in that spot cos its got a error or something...

the istallation dosnt freez says that thers no hard disk but the big problem is that i got this messge (verifying dmi pool data) and it wont go away

your sure both cables are plugged into teh harddrive? haha
