Problems with PCI nvidia FX5200

I come home after a long trip to Maui....install some windows updates using Vista Ultimate. Then do a reboot.

After that its a green "wallpaper" screen forever no loading bar or anything

Currently in BIOS I have disabled VGA so PCI can only start.

The Harddrive light blinks for about 3 mins then nothing. I even left it on overnight. and still nothing!

So then I disable PCI and enable VGA in BIOS and try to boot from there and I get a BSOD and it flashes so quick I can't read it.

Tried the Safe Mode with Networking and I cannot roll back a display driver in safe mode!

Any Ideas really its killing me!:)

Thanks in advance!

Using the safe mode in Vista Ultimate I tried that and it said it was the best configuration up to date.... something along those lines
I will give it another shot..
Thanks!;)

seems to be working fine right now...thanks for the input...should have thought of it earlier...duhh.

Plus Vista rated it at .3 points higher now! woo hooo!

Thanks!
