Problems with wireless network:(

Hello dear friends!
I want to set up wireless network. I have cable Internet connection. I bought router SweexLW050v2 . I put it between my computer and modem, as described in manual. There is the internet on my PC. Now I turn my laptop. It detects the network SweexLW050v2 and when I click to connect it it connects O.K. But if connected it does not have Internet. I open Explorer and it just shows : the computer isn't connected to the Internet. I connected a lot of times to other wireless networks with my laptop, and it always went O.K...
Help is very appreciated,

Have you checked to make sure your computer is getting an IP address from the wireless router?

run
type cmd hit enter
type ipconfig/all hit enter

what ip are you getting

what type of encryption do you have try, turning off your encryption and see if you can connect
