Proc. upgrade

I am (trying to) play ARMA2, but I am only getting about 20 fps. Here are my specs.
Athlon X2 5000 2.6ghz OCed to 2.7
radeon 3850 512mb
4 gb corsair XMS2 DDR2

I believe my processor is to slow. I saw higher fps when I OCed from 2.6 to 2.73. Should I get the Athlon X2 6000 3.0ghz or the newer Athlon x2 7850 2.8ghz?
 
Come on, nobody knows which processor is better? I know the 6000 has a higher clock speed, but the 7850 has newer technology. Can someone help me?

The CPU is OK, you need a better graphics card. Get a 4850 or even a 4870 if you can swing it.

What resolution are you playing at?

Also, what motherboard do you have? If your board supports AM3 cpu's and you really feel you must upgrade your CPU you would be way better off getting the new AM3 Regor dual core, the 240 is only $60 on newegg for 2.8ghz and L2 cache of 1mb per core.
The 7850 is OK, but newer technology is better.
