Proccessors compatible with Asus A7V600

hey guys, i have a friend that has a Asus A7V600 motherboard and currently a
AMD Athlon XP-A, 1833 MHz (11 x 167) 2500+ processor. he needs to update that to a better proccessor, but im unsure which. can anyone point me in the right direction?
 
i have found the AMD Athlon XP 3200+ , 2.2 GHz which i think is the best proccessor that is compatible with that board. would this be good enough to run CoD4?!!??
 
Looking at the rest of the specs of your system, I really doudt you could play COD4 at any decent res or settings.

Those 5400rpm hard drives would kill you along with the rest of that old system.

If you can afford it, go with a newer system. But if you can not afford it, replace the cpu, hard drives and upgrade the ram and video card. That might get you up to medium settings at a low res.

DO YOU GUYS EVEN READ PROPERLY!!!???? this is for a friend. if you look at my system its a laptop! i didnt say anything about my system whatsoever!!

the rest of HIS system is good enough to run the game!!! its just the proccessor that was too slow before!!!

SO, IF THE REST OF THE COMPUTER IS GOOD ENOUGH TO RUN COD4, WOULD THIS PROCCESSOR BE GOOD ENOUGH!?
