Process Name changing

hi i was wondering if you could change the names of the process in the task manager. say for instance something said dhdf.exe and you would like to change it to fhdi.exe, is that allowed and how can you do it. :cool:
 
that doesnt seem to work, by changing executables file name, do you mean renaming? cos the file isnt a exe file, its unzips something into the the temp folder and runs a program and i cant change that
 
I've never had an idea to changing process's name ;o), so I don't have practical experience with this. But if renaming of file which launch this process doesn't work I don't have any other solution(yet). Maybe renaming doesn't work because there is used Internal name of process(program) in taskmanager. In this case this could be done only by interference to program(changing internal name by some software - like EXEScope I think) - maybe :rolleyes:
