hey some times my internet just stops to respond and when i click ctrl+alt+delete and go to processes i see one like that (1exec.exe)
and if i close it everything comes back to normal

what is the probelm and how to fix it

You will probably find this file in your startup processes in your msconfig. Try to get it's path to know where the real exe file is and go try to delete. (Usually you will find it in the windows\system32 or in the windows directly)

Disable it from the process running before you try to delete it, as windows will not accept to delete a file that is being run in the memory.

Referring again to System Machanic it has a start-up guard which allows you to fully control what is started up when you start up your computer. Just look for that file in the start-up list and select black list it will not allow it to start up anymore. And it does that for all Trojans, Worms and viruses that try to start up automatically. Download it from www.iolo.com

Hellbreather, I just visited the iolo Technologies website. Thanks for this website, they look like a respectable company, I will try their software :D

Thanks,

Well then if it part of that then continue to use it. Try firefox like it was suggested earlier on in the thread it's much easier to use than IE and might not cause the same problems

i just read that exec.exe can be part of a netrzero

and i am using netzero

Check with Netzero then, they will probably know the file. If they said that it's not their file, then check it with an anti virus to see if it's a harmful one, if it is, you can proceed deleting it :D
