Processor choice

Hey guys. I'm looking to buy a Dell, and am wondering if I should get an AMD Turion 64 X2 TL56 or an Intel Core Duo T2050 with worse specs (less HDD, warranty, battery...), but for the same price?

OK.

Intel:

Intel® Core™ Duo T2050 (1.60 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 533 MHz FSB)
Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005 (incl Operating System Re-Installation CD)
4 years home assistance
Panoramic LCD 15.4" WXGA (1280x800) TrueLife™
1024 Mb (2x512) of SDRAM DDR2 533 MHz
Lithium Ion battery 56 Whr 6 cells
80 Gb 5400rpm

AMD

AMD® Turion 64 X2 TL56 (1.8 GHz, 1 MB L2 Cache, 400 MHz FSB)
Windows® XP Pro Edition, SP2 (incl Operating System Re-Installation CD)
4 years home assistance
Panoramic LCD 15.4" WXGA (1280x800) TrueLife™
1024 Mb (2x512) of SDRAM DDR2 533 MHz
Lithium Ion battery 85 Whr 9 cells
120 Gb 5400rpm

They're roughly the same price.

If you need longer battery life and a larger hard drive, get the AMD, but the Core Duo processor is better than the AMD Turion.

Really? Like how much?

Actually, I don't really think a processor is better than another. So I'm gonna tell you what I use it for, and then you can tell me which one would better suite my needs;

I play some games (rarely, but it happens), I often multitask (as in having many things running at the same time), I often use Skype, thorughly use MS Office, stress my internet connection...
But yeah, mainly I always have like 3-8 windows of firefox open as well as skype, MSN, Word...

The Core Duo is a little bit faster but honestly you won't even notice the speed. If they're the same price I'd go for the AMD.
