Processor problem. Help, please!

I've upgraded my processor from the Intel P4 2.4gig to the Intel P4 3e Ghz 800MHz to be used with my D865 PERL mobo. After installing the new processor, the system will power on but will not show a display. I have updated to the latest BIOS version and have disconnected everything that is not necessary for the system. Any suggestions? -Thanks

I'm using DDR 400, Geforce 6800.

upgrading .6 Ghz will not suck down enough wattage cause a problem if he disconected other devices......

it may be your video card.....what kind of beep codes are you getting, if any?

try receating the video card :confused:
