no-clue

Hello all,

I'm stuck again...my laptop's performace is constantly on 100%. I cannot figure out what the heck it is. Scary thing is I rebuilt my laptop and even on bare WinXP the performance was still 100%...i'm scared its hardware fault. Can someone shed some light please?

I've attached some screenshot of my task manager.

If you look on the second picture he posted you will notice that Office 2003 is using quite a lot of resources,Have you tried getting rid of the office 2003 one?

Its not using the cpu though

Try uninstalling the Ohotfix program to see if it takes takes the cpu usage away from the System program....

thanks for the responses guys.... as I said in my first post I completely rebuilt my computer(ie reformatted and reinstalled XP) and even before i installed any drivers, changed settings, installed any programs, just bare bones XP OS the performance was running on 100%. I even reset the bios to default in case it was something in there.
