i currently have a QX6850...

i'm thinking of upgrading to an i7. not one of the extremely expensive ones, but i'm not sure if i should, i know my current processor is pretty damn good tho. What's everybodies thoughts' on this?

If you're gonna upgrade to an i7, you'll have to get a new mobo as well, because your processor is socket 755 while an i7 is socket 1366.

your cpu looks great. don't know why you would want to change it.
