Hey guys this is probably a easy one to answer but, in the Catalyst Control i have heard with duals i can set up profiles and have different backgrounds and such how do i do this can someone help me get a tutorial or give me step by step instructions...??

I have started using an ATi card again and just happen to have a workstation with two crts attached. I Personally cannot find any such settings as I've already looked. They might be there (wait for others to reply) but I don't think so. My nvidia desktop however does have that option. Latest drivers on both computers.

Wait for others to reply, I've been wrong before :P

Edit:

Thought I should mention... You can create different profiles. I do not "think" you can assign different wallpaper. There are apps I believe available that will allow you to assign diff. walls though.

i have been running dual monitors for several years now and have always used ati. you can have different profiles, but both screens will always have the same background image.

one way around this would be to paste two pics together side by side and use that, so when you stretch your desktop, each monitor will seem like it has a different background.

Of course that would not work in all cases. If you use the second screen as an expansion of your desktop, you wont be able to do that.

i have my desktop like that now, with two different images side by side. the only bad part about it is when you maximize any page, it's real wide and takes up both screens. it's like having a wery wide single screen, and defeats the purpose of having two monitors.

perhaps you can set up one of the profiles this way so you can switch back and forth. otherwise, just make your windows the size you want them and place them where they will open every time.
