program shut down

I am on an internet page when from time to time I get a message that the explorer has to shut down the page , when I click ok it cuts out all the ikons on my screen then they come back and the program is not shut down, all is working, not very often the ikons will not come back, I will have only a blue screen and will have to shut down and start again. any help ??
 
When you download it, and Install it, you will have Internet Explorer and Firefox on your computer, two different programs. When you open fire fox, it will ask if you want to set it as your default browser - click yes -

When you open internet explorer it wil ask you the same thing - click no -

Then firefox will be your prime browser :)

I downloaded firefox. it works a little slower then explorer. but the main problem now is that Yahoo games does not work well with it, I try to play chess and it does not work well .????
 
Hello,

Could be a JAVA problem.. like for me to do flash games ect, i gotta click the game, a box will highlight and i just clickj then it will work

Thank you for your help. all is working well now on fire fox it was a yahoo problem.
