Program that I can use to edit digicam videos before going to youtube?

Whats a program I could use to edit my digicam videos and then upload to youtube afterwards? Also is it possible to take a video with the camera sideways (so that the picture is taller than wide) and then go in afterwards and edit it so its right side up?

Everything is possible with editing.

If you have windows use windows movie maker for your basic movie making needs and then export to a format that can be uploaded to youtube.

Ahh found it, but it does not upload the format from my digicam, had this problem before

Yeah, my old D-camera made mov files which are not supported by Movie Maker...

Is there a different program I could download that supports my digicams videos?
