Program to save windows?

Hi all,

I crippled my windows to functionality and want it to stay like this when I get a new PC. Is tehre any programm that "saves" all I have modified in windows?

Of course it is lol.Everything is possible.

Install the same Windows OS with the same SP version on the new PC (this will create the boot sector) as you have on your old PC and then use Ubuntu OS for copying it to new PC.Once you have done that,check if it works.If it doesn't,simply perform the repair process using the Windows OS disk which you have used to install Windows on your old and new PC.
After you have done that,just install the drivers for your new PC and you are done.

You could also try something like this:

Boot the old computer up in Safe Mode, remove the motherboard-specific drivers and turn it off.

Use a cloning program such as HDClone to copy the old drive to the drive on the new one.

Try booting the new computer. The machine should boot up and then want to install drivers for the new equipment.
 
Ive done it with retail only. ive called because it refused to accept the key because of hardware change. that will be another adventure. will need to be a retail and have to call microsoft and explain. else buy the key again.

This.

This is an entirely pointless venture if you are running an OEM version of Windows, unless you go and spend $100 on another copy. Bare in mind too, it will have to be the same version of Windows you were previously using, so may very well be more than $100
