Someone give me a name of one of the program that'll tell you how hot your CPU is again. I wan't to try something out and forgot the names of them. Thanks.

If you have an Asus Motherboard, you can use AsusProb. It tells you what temperature the MoBo is, the CPU, what RPM your fans are at. Works for me.

If you have an Abit mobo you can get a really neat device called the "uGuru Clock" that displays cpu speed, temps (CPU, System, and PSU), fan speeds, voltages, time, and room temperature. Plus it lets you overclock the processor with it. :D

I dont none of those, I'll check out CPU101 again, I dont remember seeing it there, but i read it a while ago and my memory is crap, i prabally dont rememebr half of what i read in it. thanks.

sure it does.

When you OC always make sure you keep an eye on your temperatures and voltages to see that the temperatures dont get out of hand a your voltages stay relatively close to expected values. Three tools that come to mind are SpeedFan. MBM5 and for ASUS motherboard users, ASUS Probe. If you dont have an OS installed yet or anything, manual temperature probes as well as the BIOS hardware monitor are good places to start.

If you have an AMD processor then try Central Brain Identifier
Very true however it should be noted that sometimes the temperature reading is radically off and requires you to restart Central Brain Ideneifier (or at least as Ive discovered)

Its there. Read it again. To help you find them better, they in bright orange (they were there before just not in orange)
