Programs for OC'ing?

Hey guys, I was just wondering what programs are a must to check performance, temp, ect. I know there are alot of OC'ers out there so what programs do you use? (e.X: 3d Bench 06)

well, anything but SpeedFan for temps, and if u can OC in the BIOS do it.

Thanks for the post Jedi, but I was kind of looking for a list of programs that you (OC'ers) use to measure system performance, for before / after OC'ing.

Yeah, I am dl'ing 3d bench 06 as we speak. Also I have seen SS's of people using cpu-z anyone know anything about this program? If so what are the differences in 3d bench and cpu z?

CPU-Z just tells ur configuartion, like RAM, CPU, Mobo.

I don't bother testing performance before and after. If the overclock is completely stable, you will get an improvement.

not really. if u overclock stablely 5mhz, then ther is no gain. not anything noticeable.

rofl at 5mhz OC, the least i've seen is 100mhz on a duron of 800mhz like 10000 years ago

To monitor temps, use Intel's TAT. Keep FULL LOAD (use Orthos to stress-test - small FFT's test) core temps at/below 55C if you can.

Or he could use MBM I've been using for a while now and works fine with my computer. Alot of mobos are supported.
