I want to speed up my computer. What is the best malware and spyware and virus removal program that is free. It also needs to be live, telling me if the file I am trying to open may contain a virus or keylogger. What do you recommend?

I haven't tried it, but you may want to try microsoft security essentials.

But anything free won't do what you are wanting it to do. If you want something active that will do that, then you'll have to pay for the full program.
