Hi I am using Windows Operating System XP. How do I protect the privacy of the folders files? ie. I do not wish to have other user on my PC to view my files in my personal folders.

Thanks!! :)

If you have multiple user accounts, you could set a password for yours (this only works for the first time you set the password on that account) and at the question that appears after you save the password asking you if you want to make your files private say "Yes".
So this will make the Documents And Settings/username folder inaccessible to other users.

But it won't be too safe because of windows' lack of user account security and is very easy to break the password with just few clicks, no additional software :D.

You could also use the program TFT said.

Put a password on the account and it askes if you want to make your files private, and hit yes.

Done.
