Protection of Directory

Hi guys i have a website on a host with a .co.cc name and I was just wondering how do i stop people accessing paths such as my image directory http://www.reevesii.co.cc/images and other folders in my public_html directory? cheers

I assume you're using the Apache webserver?

From http://www.kavoir.com/2009/01/htaccess-deny-from-all-restrict-directory-access.html:

To deny all requests for the restricted directory or folder, prepare a .htaccess text file in that directory and put the following directive in it:

deny from all

Are you using cPanel ? You just need to change the permisions. This is usually easily done from the hosting application
