Proxy, how much bandwith use?

Lets say I set up a proxy on my website, and someone used it to view a 1MB page, will that use up the full MB of my bandwith? or.....I'm not exactly sure how proxys run and work, i just know the gernal idea behide it.
 
i know the gernal idea of the purpose of it, and thanks for all the helpful information!, all i needed was a yes or a no.
 
well if you don't know how to use them and you don't really even know what they do then I'd suggest NOT trying to BS your way to an answer that's plastered on 100000 webpages already

put some effort into your search and then come talk to me
 
I know how to use one, how to make one(i already have one set up, just no one knows the URL) and what they are used for. You could have been the effort you put into pissing me of, and just told me simplly, I have looked, and when i search i just get a milloin sites FOR proxys.

also...I'd suggest reading up on "Bandwidth" and what actually happens when you view a webpage...

put 2 and 2 together and you have an answer
