Proxy Problems

Hey guys I use proxy website sometimes but all of them have been giving me problems. When I try to log into something, like facebook or myspace it says "Error: 111: Connection refused (URL: login.facebook.com)". What can I do for this to work and why does it do that?
 
This happens mainly because some websites do not support proxies,or have denied access to proxies.You can try using different proxies until you find one that works with those websites.

http://www.alienproxy.com/ there's even a hotlink to facebook right on that page for you.

Why do you want to visit facebook on a proxy anyway, what's your motive...if you don't mind me asking?

EDIT: Actually nevermind, it is not allowed. Strange, because it is hotlinked right on the page.
