Is there any way to configure my browser to permanently go through a proxy server to the net? I know you can go through websites and use a proxy for a session but is there a way to just have it permanent?

Just go into tools>internet options>connections>Lan settings> and enter your proxy into the proxy settings.

Never mind I found out how. But it's really slow.

No, any proxy server is going to be slow, because all your traffic has to go through the proxy.

Which proxy server are you using? If you are using one in another country try to find one that's closer to you to speed up browsing.

I tried a few in the US. They're all slow. I guess the other option is to use one when I need to be anonymous.

i have been using www.richingoff.com I dunno if you can set it up to browse automatically through ie but it is the one i use at work to use myspace.
