PS3 Games

Hey guys, Since i'm getting a ps3 to go with my 42" LCD tv I was wondering what game I should get. I was thinking assassins creed but then I read reviews that it got very repeditive, so thats off my list for now. Then I was thinking NFS Pro street it is still on my list but no cops and closed tracks plus the fact the the cars that I tried in the demo handle like boats isn't good. Now I think that ill get Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction because the others had huge replay ability and they were very very fun. Any ideas on what other games I could get?? :P Thanks.
 
call of duty is great! my brother has ratchet and clank. graphics are clear! (for animated). that is all i know of at the moment.

edit yeah like theresthatguy said resistance is a great game. it was my 2 ps3 game and my brother plays it online EVERY WAKING HR!!!!!! ugh i have no time to play anymore

Of the demos I've played on my PS3 I want to buy are Heavenly Sword, TimeShift, Blazing Angles 2: Secret Missions of WWII, Uncharted, NFS Pro Street, Bladestorm, and The Darkness. That Blazing Angels 2 demo was the first flight game I ever played and I had the most fun with it. The other demos were awesome too. Another game I really want is Time Crisis 4. I love the series. I've owned all the others.

Edit: I own Resistance: Fall of Man. It is a worthy fps with an interesting plot. I also own Guitar Hero III and Oblivion. I also forgot to mention that Killzone 2 will be released for PS3. I look forward to that as well.

When I played the demo I got the feeling they were going with a more realistic style (sort of Gran Turismo) without being that serious and with the NFS stylings.... if that makes any sense. As far as I can Ninja Gaiden Sigma is just a revamped xbox version with a few extra goodies (ie a bit more style in gameplay, redone graphics, mission modes, alternative player ->Rachel) but I've seen my old roomate play it so much that I've completely lost interest in it. Not to say that you should but if you played the original I wouldn't expect too much more.
 
my recommendation

Heavenly Sword and the elder scrolls IV oblivion if you dont have that for pc i prefer the ps3 version cuz controls are better then using keyboard and mouse to me

heavenly sword is kinda difficult game but what you gotta do with the new ps3 wireless controller is use it in aftertouch mode and just move the controller in the direction you want your arrows to go while holding the aftertouch button on heavenly sword makes things alot easier and makes me love the ps3 controller a bit more.

im gonna download blazing angels cuz i hear good stuff about it lol thinking about doing that right now the demo i mean umm is uncharted drake in the playstation store now too

Do it! Blazing Angels is a lot of fun. Uncharted is kind of difficult imo but still fun.

thanks yeah i think i download blazing angels 2 earlier i fell asleep while it was downloading for the demo it took awhile took long enough
 
I was at Best Buy earlier and I decided to look thru the PS3 games and saw World Series of Poker 2008. I know what I'm gonna make my gf get me for Xmas.
 
Well I decided to get Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, NFS Pro street and Ninja Gaiden Sigma because the combos in that looked quite good... Plus the graffics :P I got NFS Pro Street cause i'd play it multi player with my mates... :P I can't wait! They said that it's going to take like a week to get it into the shop :'( They are sooo Eval!
 
Definately at least rent Uncharted. Easily one of the best PS3 Games available. It's better than the demo is, IMO. Other than that COD4.
 
get assassin's creed fool :P, dont always believe in reviews bcus there is no game that will every get a perfect review. buy it and try it out
 
Mmm i'm thinking of renting because games over here cost $100+ to buy... :( . I Was thinking about uncharted... Then I thought it didn't really appeal to me... But then again it sort of does... I dunno maybe when I pay this tv and ps3 off early next year ill get a couple more games... Since there arn't a huge abundance of really good ps3 games yet... Um I really want sony to improve their online play support... That would be so good if they did... Then get some proper games like Halo to play online. Oh yeah I exchanged Ninja Gaiden Sigma for Resistance : Fall of man... A good thing to do?
 
Yay! Nup it still hasn't arrived... So hopefully it'l be here soon... They are ganna give it to me in a huge package! Also someone had better not have taken my nickname!... Otherwise ima be anngrey! Lol
