PS3 Nov. 17 need help and any additional info

was wondering does anyone know which stores will be carrying the ps3..and also does anyone know if there going to give like a special voucher to the first 10 people in line to gurantee that they'll get a ps3 or is it lik a type of release where u jus run into the store and grab any ps3 u can get ur hands on. planning to camp out but need additional info. thanks
 
I would think big name stores like wal-mart maybe eb games.

I wonder if they're gonna give away PS3s like they did PS2s on opening night.
 
Every major store will carry them like Super Target, Wal Mart Supercenter, Toys 'R us, GameStop/EB etc, BUT how many they will receive is the problem. One of the local EBs in town is only getting about 5 PS3s. If you're looking to get a preorder then you're out of luck. Just about every store that offers preorders has already sold out. You're going to have to camp outside of a Wal Mart or Super Target for a long time if you want to get a PS3. They're going to be very hard to get since the US is only getting about 400,000 units for the launch.
 
yea..not sure tho..hopefully the target near my house will have some..do you think i'll have a good chance?..also anyone know if they'll give the first couple of people a voucher to gurantee ur ps3 or will it be like a run for life and death type a thing where u run in the store and grab it.

I'll assume so. The only Target near me turned into a Super Target, but if I remember correctly(10 years ago mind you) they carried video games, electronics, etc. So...yes.

yeah and if its cold bring a heater lol
and have people thatll bring you hot chocolate and food and stuff
EDIT- i camped out for the best buy black friday sale last year, got there at 2 in the morning with some friends, we had propane heaters, and chilled it chairs around the heater until it opened, it was one of those mr heaters so we cooked food on it too...
we had people come at 4:45 to take the heater/chairs/all our food
then we got in, we were the 10,11,12th people in the store
i spent $600 that day, sold the $150 pc for like $500, and another thing where i made like $100 profit, so i gotta ipod and other cool stuff for free due to my profit,
i love black friday

me n my bro n cousin woke up at 6 am for the circuit city laptop toshiba sale on black friday..we came there n the line was already way too long..learned our lesson to wake up earlier next time lol thanks for the info guys!
