Ok I was never going to buy a ps3 or Xbox360, but after what I have seen and heard on here I have thought different. Before I get all these fan boys f the consles telling me to get either the xbox or ps3, I was thinking of just getting a new PS2 cos I have broken mine. But should I like spend anouther £100 or so on a ps3. Would it be worth it? And after some thinking I realised that xbox 360 is out of the question as I have no reviouse xbox games and I have about 20+ ps2 games. So which one (bearing in mind I have a realy crappy saturday job and a girlfriend so basicaly my disposably income is not high).

well the ps3 isnt out til spring next year, so by the time its out, im sure you will have another £100.
My vote will always be for the PS3 because of backwards compatibility. I don't like how with every other console you need to keep every previous generation so that you can still play your older games. I still play NES games from time to time (those were the days, those old games rocked)

Ps3 is my vote too, but as the dude said a couple of posts above me, its not out untill spring of next year. I dont know about you but i can hold money that long.

ps3.. dont know why i never looked into xbox.. backwards compatible which is a + .. xobx isn't.. preorder prices are ridiculously high.. i still haven't found out the price of the ps3.. but im hoping its cheaper than the xbox..

ps3 will not be cheaper than the xbox....and the games might cost more money too, because of the high productions costs of blu-rays

im hoping.. yea i knoe games aren't cheaper.. i've seen it on other sites stating they'll be around 70 . but im still hoping.
